Hello everyone, I had my Kellogg 2 days back with an Alum, pretty much similar questions -

1. Tell me about yourself
2. Short and Long Term goals
3. Tell me about a time you managed a team.
4. Why MBA?
5. Why Kellogg?
6. When did you receive constructive criticism and how did you respond to it?
7. Tell me about a time that you worked in a diverse team.
8. What is your Plan B if your Short term goals don’t work out?
9. Any questions for the interviewer

(1 - 8) => 25 Mins
9 => 5 Mins

Hey guys, I just wanted to inform that I randomly opened my Kellogg portal today and scrolled down to find that there was an option to register for the interview button that opened a calendar with available slots on specific days to schedule the interview.

I didn’t receive any email regarding this so maybe ppl who are waiting to be matched after they filled out the interview request in January, check your portals too.

How important is it to connect with students/alumni before your interview?

Kellogg is interested in knowing what research a candidate did about the school and apart from visiting the standard website, getting in touch with alumni is a great option to show your research for school and interest. I personally have not submitted the application yet, but from what I studied about Kellogg I believe you getting in touch with the alumni will show your positive interest towards Kellogg to the fellow interviewer.

Awesome! Did you find any slots other than on 7th feb, 27th feb and 28th feb? I chose 27th feb but now I am thinking what if that’s too late

too late how?

The school has cap the deadline for interview for 28..all interviewed will receive a decision

Too late as in too late to leave a good impression that results into a final admit. I am not sure if they start filling up the seats as they interview or only after they interview everybody. Because if the former case is true the ones who interview at the end have fewer seats to compete for. But again, this is my doubt not an assertion!

If I may ask, when did you request for the interview assignment ? I am trying to estimate the typical no of days they take to find a potential interviewer. I raised the request on 19th Jan and still pending to be matched with an interviewer

So I submitted the request on 12th January

And saw the CTA to choose the date and time on my portal yesterday. Before that even my status was showing ‘Interview assignment pending’
