Accepted with $, some consolation for rejection pre-interview from HBS and likely rejection from GSB (no interview so far). Background for future applicant reference:
- White male, would be 28 at time of matriculation (~6 years of WE)
- Lower-tier Ivy undergrad w/ 3.9 GPA / magna cum laude
- Top BB IB, top MF PE, now at a hedge fund
- 730 GMAT (44Q, 45V)

waitlisted as an international candidate. what's gonna happen now? do we wait until the end of R3? which means the timeline is extremely squeezed for loan and visa applications....

Does anyone know what Forte Fellowship is and how difficult it is to obtain this scholarship?

You would have to visit their website… It is for Women only obviously and I think they have some really good programs that are worth signing up for. You can get a free app fee waiver for basically any business school.

As to scholarship chances… as a guy, I haven’t been following it closely but my understanding is that scholarships have been good and perhaps sometime is attached to a particular school? 🤷‍♂️ Don’t quote me on this

Waitlisted and I'm not sure how much effort I should be putting into getting off of it since seems like so many people were waitlisted. Wharton was by far my top choice so I'm devastated, but the only thing I can maybe do is maybe retake the GMAT for another 20 points or try GRE OR have some friends that are alums/current students write me a letter of support (although not sure how much weight those will carry because they are just friends)

Wharton decisions are very dynamic i did take a recommendation from alumn and sent some updated but still continuing on waitlist i heard from the same alumni in his class there are waitlist conversions who didn’t do anything but they got in
