My only logic is that it would be generally high as the interview is taken by alumni instead of admissions team (lack of quality control in alumni interviews = lower weightage of interview compared with admissions team interviews). If this is true then the majority of the selection would happen in first stage with the on paper profile and video interview.

This is just my own thinking lol but there is also luck. If your profile is unique then higher chances irrespective and if a common profile then lower chances even after interview.

Hi, I just opened the Scholorship Portal... Noticed I need to fill in some basic details to see the scholorship list and requirement - Does anyone know if I can draft and save, then come back after to fill in properly?

I tried but it didn't seem to work. For the personal & financial information there are not too many questions, most questions you can answer in less than 30 seconds. Several questions you may need to content up I'd suggest to write them in a word document then just copy paste. For info, you don't need to complete the personal & financial info to see the list of scholarships

To second this, you can click "submit" in the My personal & financial profile, and you can always go back to it and edit it whenever until the deadline hits. That’s how i edited mine, put in junk values for the time being until i knew what to input

I won't interpret in that narrow sense but just my take why the question is asked:
- either you'll bring your partner (married or not married) to the campus and they want to have some info
- in assessment of financial aid ... you may also have some financial support from your partner (married or not married)

If you have any doubt you can of course reach out to the financing officer to have a clear definition

Guys when I submit my personal details, many of the scholarships I hoped to fill in are not available to select.

Does it mean I don't meet the criteria? Probably the financial need one?

Ditto, I think the key factor is region of origin, even though I'm tax resident in France (I don't have French nationality .. yet) but once I ticked "Asia" (I'm Chinese), the list is materially reduced

Or maybe there are sub-categories of scholarship (i.e. under Financial Aid Group or Diversity & Excellence Group), as long as there's no essay requirement (i.e. under financial aid group, if in the essay topic section it says "Please submit the essays under Financial Need Scholarship Group") then you'll be automatically considered under that Group for that sub-category scholarship

I have tried tinkering with all metrics. The most imp variable is the salary IMO. Anyways ofc we ll all put the correct nos but sad to see the shortened list 😂
