Can someone post the original explanation/solution? I have some doubts about my method to arrive at the right answer.

Regarding the first statement, Nagahama increased from 106 to 612, which is almost 500 % growth in close to 16 years. So annually it will grow at 500 / 16 ~ 31 % so greater than 15 %

Is this correct?

For this question, please let me know whether my understanding is correct or not -

From 1989 to 2013 (24 years) the percentage growth is = [(1637-611)/(611) * 100] = 167%

So annual growth will be around 167/24 = ~7%

Using this rate we can confidently say that within the next 3 years, there would be more than 2,000 estimated nests on the beach.

Yup, used the same logic to arrive at 1637*(1.07)^7 = 2628.66 turtle nests.

Shouldn't we consider compound interest for annualized interest? If we consider compound interest , annualized interest comes around 11.5%­ for Nagahama

Can some help with he first part of this question ? Shingu and Toyohashi have been have shown constant, falling nests/year respectively - how can we be sure if they had shown more 15% growth in "some" year ??­

­Question is about if there is atleast "one beach" which had grown more than 15%. We need to find a single beach which had grown more than 15%.

IMO, statement 1 is ambiguously worded because of the phrase "any of the beaches" - Example: If I say "True, the greatest annual increase in estimated turtle nests experienced by any of the individual beaches was larger than 15%" - How would you perceive it? It would literally mean that if ANY of the beaches is chosen from the list, it will have greater than 15% "annual" growth. And this is not Must be True.

IMO, the wording of this question needs to be updated to make it clearer.
