hi guys
I know I'm supposed to ask the school about this, but just want to know your experienc and advice.
I'm currently a 3rd year BBA student in Canada. I will finish my BBA in April 2005 (next year) and want to go straight to MBA without stopping for work experience or break. I 'm working part-time right now at a okay company doing an okay job (this job won't provide me great work exper.) and am volunteering in a non-profit org (i believe i can get some good recomm. letters from them).
I am planning to take the GMAT in the coming July or August and hopefully will get over 700. My high school GPA is REALLY bad (<1 for my final year) and my 1st university year GPA wasn't spectuar either. But for my second and third year GPA is around 3.5-3.8.
Right now i'm 21 years old living in Canada, but i want to try for the top 20 b-school in US. My questions are whether
1) I should apply to the b-school given my par level qualification
2) what school u guys would recommend given the city and the general econ, ( i haven't talked to anyone who have gone to the schools except for Columbia and Yale, which i felt they are v. good schools)
Thanks in advance for all your responses.
Paolo
