Hello Hjort,

I applied to UC Davis MBA and Santa Clara University(SCU).My score is 580 with 3 years of experience. I got admission in SCU and was on the waiting list at Davis.So when i attended the interview at Davis recently they said that everything else seems fine but we would appreciate if you can take GMAT again.They didnot guarantee that if i score well i would get admitted.So i would like to know would it make sense to write the gmat in two months or join SCU?

It is unclear to me when the offer from SCU expires but if Davis asked you to retake the exam it makes perfect sense to go ahead take the GMAT again.

The SCU has given three options to choose. I can join this fall 2007 or winter 2008 or summer 2008.

Which school has the best oppurtunities regarding job and internships?

Take the gmat again and apply to a couple more schools. Apply to some reach schools and a couple to fall back on.
