If you are new here, you may feel a little intimidated by the volume of information, the imposing profiles of some of the members, the pace of discussions etc.

Well, first of all , we are interested in building a community, not a clique with a few elite members. The best way to take advantage of any community is to participate in it and share your knowledge.

You dont have to go all out starting new threads. Start slow by responding to others questions. You will start feeling comfortable in no time.

How about calling this one "FAQs: Start Here!" or something of that ilk.

this is fun. how about you pick me out a laptop and review the acctg CD from Duke and summarize the important points for me?
