THis one is a weird one

A/B refer to it, but you don't know what IT is

C is ambiguous because you don't know what them is, the homes or the settlers?

E is wrong because the homes didn't make do... it was the settlers

D is right. I agree though, this sentence is retarded lol. I think it was in one of the books, and I of course got it wrong at first...

Wierd..... lol i was like WTF???

Elminated E b/c making do w/o doesn't refer to the homes. the settlers um made do without lol.

I chose C only to realize right after, I saw that them doesnt have a proper referrent.

Then I said D b/c making do without lol, is this right???

A) Wrong. Doing it???? (a dangling pronoun)
B)Wrong. Did it without??? (dangling pronoun)
C)Wrong. Making them??? (them doesnt refer correctly to any noun)
D)Sounds good
E)Very ackward sounding.
