ahh, but does that mean they're "ready to submit" or "ready for friends and family to shred so I can rebuild them?" ;)

Hey I am doing the shredding myself. Re-editing essays.

What can I do if my manager gave me now work for 2 weeks - no projects, only GMATClub surfing.

Ross and Haas are 90% ready, just need to make them flow a little better before sending them off for shredding round 1.

yeah, I have a big project coming up... procrastinating it a little to surf GMATClub and do my resumes... but not looking forward for it picking up at the end of September...

EDIT: Haas essays sent out for shredding Round 1

Probably can start my UCLA essays now... most are the same except for the family one.

yeah, it seems like we're using very vague and confusing terms...

Please specify when you say you're "done", whether that's the revising draft, editing draft, or you're ready to submit.

When "sent off", is it sent off to friends for round 1 of review, or sent off to the adcom.

Mine is Draft 1 sent to friends for review of content and structure. Then I do the editing for grammar and stuff.

Still trudging on the Columbia essay 2 ( had done the draft, but somehow did not like it at all - its a tight rope walk)

Opened up the UCLA essays - hmm do I really need to air the dirty laundry of my dsyfunctional family?

I've just finished the second draft of my tuck essays, sent them out for comments and I'll start with the outlines for Wharton. I really like the Wharton essays...they have a nice international feel to them. 4-5 weeks till I have to submit them *yikes*. G'luck guys.

wow........I really am punching way above my class.

Have done - One draft of one essay (Chicago Goals). Made a lot of non-sensical (even to me) outlines of a few random colleges. Am getting psyched now. High time I start going full steam ahead

Fine-tuning essays for Columbia, will sendem for review EOweek;
Working on recos/resume.
Zippo for 4 other R1 schools.
Screwed at work, not-possible-to-meet deadlines for September.

But oh well, will get past.

Completed first drafts of HBS (R2), and 85% of CMU (R1).

All yesterday I was doing scanning and uploading for Transcripts. Not very easy.

Started bugging recommenders. Got 1 Reco for HBS.

This may be just me, but after spending 2 weeks writing my Tuck essays I'm finding it easier to come up with the outlines for Wharton. I know which points I want to stress etc...hopefully everyone else is finding it easier/quicker to write the second set.

MIT - About 80% complete
Washington - 100% complete
Duke - About 80% complete
Kellogg - About 50% complete

Not sure where else I'm applying to. Probably Cornell but their application isn't up yet.
