Query:
How are you folks handling the 'part time' work exp part of the application?

As in, do we include information about jobs held during coll as well?
To be very precise, I am contemplating on adding my Teaching Assistantship role during my Masters - any inputs?

hey now, leave Stanford alone ;)

But with both of you applying to such top schools and having very good credentials, Haas PT should be no problem for both of you!

Just submitted my app. Feeling good.

Now I just have to wait until 1/16 to find out I've been accepted!

Actually, there is a possibility of finding out the *bad* news ahead of 01/16. I believe HBS interviews most if not all admitted applicants.

My guess is if an R1 applicant doesnt get an interview invite by mid-December or so, then a ding is pretty much guaranteed.

P.S:Dont mean to imply that you will be dinged. Just trying to clarify the decision schedule.

Re: Calling all the Harvard Gurus - Fall'08 [#permalink]
I submitted a couple of hours back.

I figured out a small problem with app. PDF version is not taking some info from online application. But website tech guys are saying that thats okay. Some times PDFs don't capture all the info but that info will be in the database. I hope adcom guys take printout from database, not of PDF.

https://www.hbs.edu/mba/admissions/faq.html

General: When I print the application in PDF format, parts of the application appear truncated, unclear and/or do not appear at all. Are these parts seen by the Admissions Board?

The Admissions Office receives the entire application in appropriate format and all fields are viewed clearly by the Board. The document that the applicant views is an unformatted version of the final document.

It's very interesting to see how people whom you helped a lot are reluctant to do you a favor :)

Nice process to check one's real friends and foes :-D
