well in all honesty, i think i have it easier than the male applicants....so it's not fair for me to think that my application was better

Thank you so much for the encouragement.
It means a lot!

Question: There's nothing available on-campus before March 4th and I am currently in Chicago and would be leaving the US to go back to India on Feb 28th. Do you think it's appropriate to call AdCom and ask them if it's possible to schedule something for before that?

i really wanted to experience the campus, class visit and all
let's see what happens now....maybe i'll still be able to do that before leaving

I wouldn't buy it because the sample questions are probably worthless. All of the questions will be tailored to your specific profile, they don't like canned questions. Re-read your essays & application multiple times, and try to think about anything that makes you unique. If you really want to practice, you could setup a mock interview with sandy from BW.

Thanks forcefeed. Great tips! Kudos!
Sorry for sounding ignorant, who's Sandy and do you know the charge for the mock interview?

Sandy is https://www.hbsguru.com and I think he charges $300 for the interview. Atleast thats what he advertises on b-week every day.

Had my HBS interview (R2) and it's true - the vast majority of questions are tailored to your application. The best preparation is to know your resume, your essays, and be ready to explain yourself. Good luck to all.

I actually have both the school guide & interview guide.. they are okay.. but there's nothing that you couldn't find also on the hbs website, blogs, ClearAdmit wiki & Accepted interview feedback database.. and for the interview guide it's only 14 pages.. if you haven't done any research at all about the interviews or the school, they might help.. but if you're pretty hard core already, well.. they won't help as much..

as for Sandy, I'm still thinking whether he's worth the 300 bucks, any of you tried using his services?

i was trying to evaluate about sandy also
$300 is a lot of dough
but then again if you look at what it can get you, it doesn't seem as much
$150k on school!!!
$300 on getting into the school of your choice?
