Hey guys,
I just took my 3rd
Manhattan GMAT CAT. I got a 640 (Q44, V33).
My 1st 2 attempts were as follows:
MGMAT CAT1: 600 - 36Q, 35V
MGMAT CAT2: 590 - 39Q, 33V
I felt a little more rushed on the verbal section than I did on the quant, but I was still very surprised. This was the highest quant score I've received, and I felt like I was guessing on 1/3 of the questions. I am also very surprised that my verbal score is so stubbornly low. I have been doing
OG CR + SC problems and I have been getting close to 80% of them right from the middle-back part of the OG11. Is
MGMAT Verbal different or more difficult than the real thing?
I have 8 weeks to go until my test date (June 27th). I have 4 more sessions of my in-person
MGMAT class to go. I also have 3 more
MGMAT CATs that I can go ahead and take without getting repeats.
What should my game plan be? I want to shoot for 750, and I'd be perfectly happy with 710-730. I know that I need to get my verbal up to at least a 40. Reading Comprehension is my achilles heal, and I just can't seem to improve it.
Is it realistic to shoot for about a V42 and Q48 for a composite score of 740? It doesn't seem like I have very long to go on Quant, but Verbal is a whole different story.
