ditto. I'm also giving my recommenders packets designed to help them write the recommendations...so I have some idea of the types of things they'll be covering. how well it's executed? No idea :)

I did the same. I trust my recommenders on the execution part...we'll see how it plays out - I might be singing a different tune if I have 5 rejections at the end of January.

Even waiving the right is no brainer. You can waive the right but still has access to your recommendations from your recommenders. Waiving the right just give them assurance that you can never get an access to recos after you are granted an admission. But if you are denied admission who cares about what your recommenders had written.
So waiving the right does not guarantee that you have not seen your recommendations. For me, not waiving the right shows how curious I am to know what crap my recommenders have written... :)

One of the older posts on this topic had a sample guide that a user posted - I used that as a starting point.
