Hi guys,
Took GMAT today and got 700 (Q49,V35). I did badly in verbal. There were few tough SC and CR questions which threw my timing off completely. After that I was running against the clock. My last RC was 90 lines long and I just skimmed over it and answered the questions without looking back. So timing in verbal messed me up.

I believe I can do better, somewhere between 720 - 750.

So the question for all experience folks here....

Does it make sense to take GMAT again? I will be applying to top 5-6 school only. I have 6 years of work experience along with undergrad and grad degrees in engineering from reputed universities.

My prep scores...

PP1 720
PP2 710

These two tests I took before I started preparing for GMAT. bit of reverse order here.

Kaplan Diag 670
KP1 570
KP2 600

PR1 740
PR2 720
PR1 720
PR1 710

Hope to hear your thoughts...

Your GMAT Score wouldnt keep you from getting in. If i were you i would concentrate on other parts of the application.

I would not take if I were you with your background. But if you feel that you can do better, then go ahead with one more attempt.
