Just got an email saying my app went complete, a month after submitting it. The big points:

-Interview invites will start going out early Dec until the decision deadline, February 2. Everyone on the Wharton board is going crazy over 3 weeks, I can't wait to see what 2 months does to people.

-In some cases they will let people know if they're going to be dinged prior to Feb 2.

-If admitted, a 3K deposit is due March 13(though 1.5 of it is refundable). That seems rather early to me.


So who knows, I(and others here) may end up doing an on-campus interview while I'm visiting my parents during the holidays. Here's selfishly hoping that the fight of a trek through a foot or two of snow will filter the people who really want it from the fair-weather'ers that only saw Boston in the summer!

got the same email bostonsparky. i think they waited until all apps had been processed to send out a mass email.

Got that email too - I appreciate the extent of the details provided. Let's keep our fingers crossed for the interview invites!

I got the same but the status has not changed on the application. I don't think it matters but just wanted to point out.

got the same email. was briefly excited when i saw it in my mailbox..my emotions popping up like a delighted balloon..quickly deflated when i read the email..

ahh..the agony of waiting !

waiting for an interview is cruel. Specially MIT that does not have a mid decision date. from now till january/feb it's just too much. Let's hope we hear smtg after thanksgiving.

I received an email from Sloan today about financing my MBA. The email included info about applying for various fellowships. Did everyone get this email or should I see this as a good sign?

Got that too. I think it's just one of the mass emails that they send out...

Sorry I shouldve been more clear in my email. I wasn't assuming it was a ding. I was just adding that I hadn't gotten the email.
