Edit: Do not post actual test questions.

To be honest, I didn't think that the questions I saw were all that difficult, in fact a lot of them seemed really easy. Some specifics that I remember:

There was a probability question, something like this:

On the verbal section, I thought the RC and CR sections were very straight forward. No surprises as in they weren't too difficult, but they didn't just seem ridiculously easy. The only thing I noticed was that the RC questions (there were 4 of them) Got really long towards the end, the last one had 70+ lines, so you had to spend a lot of time reading and searching for specific lines to answer the questions.

The SC seemed tough to me. There were several where I knew the sentence as stated was not right, but I could only narrow it down to two probable answers and then just guessed. I got lucky on those I think.

There were also several (3+) SC problems where the sentence was correct as it was. These also came back to back, so I was really starting to second guess myself by having so many "A" answers in a row for SC

If I think of more questions, I'll post them.

Also,
the breakdown was:
49 quant (90th percentile)
51 verbal (99th percentile)
780 overall

When I got the 650 the breakdown was:
43 quant (71st percentile)
38 verbal (86th percentile)
650 overall

I recently went to a Stanford Business school PR presentation. When someone from the audience asked to AdCom how much do high GMAT Scores count ... her answer was something like .... "last year there were 8 applicants with perfect 800 gmat score. Unfortunately we were unable to accomodate any one of them in our program"

Strange  ... proves that gmat is just a part of the application process.

780 is a huuuuuuuuge score . Congrats.
Just to be less idiot I thought best possible score on each section is 60. Is it still correct or am I confused between score and raw score ?

I ran powerprep so many times and for cases where i marked all correct naswers, I got 50 in verbal. I never got 51. Wow. That made me think that 51 in verbal was not possible. In math I have seen 51. This must be some achievement.
