I'm uploading the sheet I used to prep for interviews. It includes all the interview questions I found on the web and I added the ones I got that didn't expect! I used the various columns to fit the answers to specific schools in the event that the answers were different. I then used it as a study guide before my interviews. I hope you guys find it useful.

um, that's sort of like asking for answers to essay questions on applications. you need to come up with them on your own.

You can definitely post your own and see if that sparks others to follow...

Some questions that i faced:

1. What if you make it to all the institutes that you have applied to? What will be your thought process behind choosing the school?

2. What if i leave you in a magazine store, which magazines will you pick up?

3. A news that you have been following. [Be prepared to answer any related questions, mine were all bailout related]

4. What surprised you while doing research about our college?

6. What are the areas of improvement that your manager has point out in the last appraisal?

7. What if i gave you the position you desire post MBA, in the organization that you work currently, what difference would you like to make?

8. Which companies are you looking at for internships?

Some of these are different flavors of already posted but a couple i thought were new.
This list is based on interviews i had at Ross and Haas. [Results aren't out yet]

i had ross and haas interviews as well - both were pretty standard interviews. goes to show how much these vary. did you interview with alumni or adcom?

but that makes no sense, potential mba students should be good at delegating, getting others to do your work. Thats what makes a successful businessman.

Sounds like you subscribe to the George W. Bush approach to management.

A lot of us here in this forum have admits to top bschools in the world. We didn't get our admits because we were successful at delegating, making others do our work.

We put a lot of effort in our careers (to date) and also put countless hours preparing for our bschool application packages and GMAT exam.

Since none of us are willing to give you the answers, you must not be so good at delegating...Good luck being a successful businessman!

I hope you're joking! Like others have said, the forum is a place where you can find resources to help you with the bschool application process, tips/tricks, etc. NOT answers to essay or interview questions.

Here is some excellent interview prep advice -- especially for those who boast / prattle on / embellish / etc.

It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.-- Mark Twain (1835-1910)

A friend of mine went for an interview at Yale SOM and was asked to read something on the spot and do an analysis..A quick review of case analysis is perhaps in order (although I've never heard of this from anywhere else).

Here are a few more (not all unique...but I hope it helps).

-Name one company that you think is successful and one company that you think isn't.
-How do you fit with different cultures
-Why did I choose to do this undergraduate school ?
-Highlights and disappointments in your current job ?
-Why and how did you start to do this extracurricular activity ?
-Why did I choose my undergraduate college and what other options did I have.
-What challenges I had when I entered my college.
-He kept asking for more details on one of my project, from start to finish and wanted exact financial details, etc.
