Hey Guys! For those of your that attended the admitted student weekend, can you please let me know what was the concesus amongst accepted applicants. Are most people planning to attend? I am a waitlisted applicant port interview and would really like to see how things are shaping up.

Solaris, Sternfinance: great comments -- very valid points you raise. I wish I had found this thread long ago (I'm only a very recent poster on GMAT Club). Still haven't finalized my decision so your input is most appreciated and is helping me to think this through further. Thanks for the feedback!

Hi All-

I was accepted today to NYU and will be participating in Summer Start. I interviewed yesterday and found out today. The interview was not so much a conversation but rapid fire questioning. I wasn't sure how I did when I was done but I tried my best and I guess it worked out.

I look forward to meeting others attending Stern - see you there!

Thanks Nink! Enjoy SOM - everyone I met researching that school (from students and alums to professors) was amazing in every way - I was hoping for it but I can't complain.

And I must thank Solaris for the interview posting - it was certainly helpful. One funny question - They asked what book I am currently reading - I am reading 2 and THANK GOD because one is called "Good in Bed" and the other is "A Whole New Mind" - I figured "Good in Bed" might be inappropriate to mentioned so at least I had a back up - otherwise I would have lied :)

Congratulations, hardaway7! I'm very happy NYU Stern came through for you. All that GMAT stress paid off in the end. :)

Summer Start is a fantastic program, and I'm very jealous that you will get to participate in it.
