I turned down Tepper with $$ also. I still think, regardless of rankings, that the reputation of Johnson has remained intact. Johnson has historically bounced around the 11-18 area in both business week and USNews.....nothing to worry about:)

Let's hope you're right Raabend...I'm not paying all this money and giving up salary for 2 years to go to the 17th-best school that's behind Tepper.... :?

To put things in perspective, here are some rankings of top schools since 1990 (USNews):

UCLA 17th (also had been 16th a couple times)
NYU 19th (also had been 18th, 17th, and 16th)
Yale 19th (also had been 18th, 17th, and 16th)
Berkeley 15th
Ross 13th

Cornell has been as high as 12th and as low as 20th.

Its really no biggie 8-)

Oh and in defense of Tepper, they have been ranked as high as 13th and at one time or another have been ranked higher than UCLA, NYU, Berkeley, Yale, Cornell

Everyone,

All set for Ithaca? I will be staying at Fairview. Is anyone interested in SSO immersion? Has anyone received an email from
his/her immersion coordinator?

I am wrapping up my stuff here.

If I remember, there are some pretty sick wine tours along the lake (I think it's Cayuga?). I don't remember any of the details though, it's been over 10 years since I was up there.
