I tried to get my account manager to give me some type of clarity on when we will hear. I guess I am not the persuasive and unfortunately got nothing.

Recd an email today from Darden informing me that they are narrowing the waitlist and I am still on it. I assume others recd this too.. apparently they are going to revisit the list over the next few weeks.. so maybe all hope is not lost.

tbh - at this point i have pretty much forgotten about it and taking a break before starting with next years apps.. so sucks to be reminded but i guess its good to still be on the WL..

I also got this email, nut frankly it seems like everyone did. I have not seen anyone say they got rejected or accepted. I would love to know what others think??

ya pretty much what i thought. other than checking this site / bweek a couple of times week (and i actually have a calendar reminder to remind me to do that) I don't think there is much that I can do at this point. I have emailed them a couple of updates but frankly nothing truly major... so I don't think further emails will help much unless something changes.

looks like the darden admissions blog has a new post about WL.. nothing new really but she says it looks like there are some more possibilities off the waitlist.

I would love to know what "more possibilities" means. Also, what do you guys think about last weeks letter and the "narrowing" of the WL? Did they release people or accept them. I am going to be an optimist and say the former, as they opened the letter with a very positive "Greetings from Darden!" (HA HA) - Hopefully we will all hear positive news soon.

Anyone on the WL give the school a notification date deadline? If so what was the reaction and did they say whether they would honor that?

I think I need to hear soon regarding work, moving halfway across the country, and finding a place to live there if I get in. I also want to know soon so I can start working on next years apps if I get dinged.

Agreed. I mean it is almost July, they have to know whether there is room for us. I do not see the point in just dragging us along. At least give us the odds of getting in

Spoke to the school today and was told that the class is full. They will only look to the waitlist if people decide not to enroll. Odds are looking slim

I was let go from the Darden waitlist on Tuesday, officially bringing my cycle to a close. Thanks for all of the encouragement, guys. I may try again for an MBA at some point in the future...but right now I'm going to get a law degree in the fall.

anyone else hear anything? I am still on the WL but haven't heard a word in months. Wonder how many people are still on the WL.

Leverandon - If you are still checking this site - I was wondering - did you give them a deadline and the deadline passed hence you got a response or was it just them contacting you unprompted..
