yes, if you are canadian you have no problems, people do part time with B2 status and move in and out of the country in between to maintain status.

Can you please tell me more about it? Is this legal or a "loop-hole"? Do they tell custom that they are studying part-time whenever they enter the border? I'm afraid that I would not be able to enter the country after flying back and forth for a few times and got caught by custom!!

You need your own visa in some way. The application forms essentially make that claim, in fact, I had to pledge that I have a visa.
