Hi

I'm not from Ukraine, but I'm from a former CIS country. Would it be ok if people from such countries make posts here too?

btw, I've been to Kyiv and Dnepropetrovsk and I loved Ukraine!!!

If there is not enough traffic for each specific country, we can merge this into a once happy CIS thread, so let's see.

Welcome guys!

I have renamed the thread to be CIS since that probably makes more sense. Will update the roll call in a bit.
(let me know if I missed your country).

Всем привет!

Thank you for organizing such threat!

I am impressed to find out that GMAT club founder is Ukrainian! Besides that I was impressed by walker threads and activity on many forums as well.

I want to share my experience and where do I "locate" myself with GMAT.
I have recently passed it, but my result is unimpressive. For this attempt I prepared during 1 month and attended GMAT prep courses at a Kiev-based preparation company. I am 19 years old and I attend English-speaking university (getting BBA degree) in Kiev. (or Kyiv. still do not understand what is the best way to write it :? )

Nowadays, I am doing my best (studying on my own) to improve my GMAT score. .
I consider GMAT club (and especially its tests!!!) as a very helpful and reliable source in my process of preparation.

I know I can do better, thus I decided to re-take it. My goal is to apply for a Masters degree in one of the best European schools.

Большое спасибо, GMAT club реально помогает!

Welcome barakhaiev!
I just started the site - other people (such as moderators and participants) made it what it is today, so the credit goes to them.
Still, thank you for the kind words and good luck on the GMAT!

P.S. When you say BBA in English - is that ICU, Mohyla, ?

Thank you for wishing me good luck :)

No, neither Mohyla nor ICU :) . There is a young and small (thus unknown for most of the citizens) university called Wisconsin International University (USA) Ukraine. I've been studying there for 4 years and completely satisfied with the level of education.

Yes, it is right there! :)
The world is small ;)
Besides, bb, may I ask you a question?
Do you still live in Kiev? Or did you move somewhere?

I am Seattle, WA
I guess I could be clearer on my profile. I am just used to using airport codes for cities.

Hey.

Though I am not very active gmatclub member, I used it a lot to prepare for the GMAT :)

I am not discouraging you from MBA Strategy though I am pretty sure that if you know about gmatclub there is no sense to go anywhere in Ukraine. I was frustrated with my first attempt as well though I got a grip on myself and did it - and I believe that you can do it as well. I have finished my graduate studies and that is why I never heard of your university - but it sounds good, because I didn't have english-speaking courses in spite of English. I thought that I am young for pursuing MBA - but I see that there are even younger Ukrainians - and its pleasant that not everybody in my country is reluctant to make the difference))

Thank you for your reply and for inspiring me to work more ;) really, I understood that gmatclub is a great place to study. However, I want to thank MBA strategy for systematizing my mathematical skills in such a short period =)
