Is this what Adcom counts or is it the 49 lines of actual content in the resume?

Personally, I wouldn't worry about details like this. I would worry more about the content of my resume and essays. I see the word limit as more of a general guideline. The admissions committee is not going to sit down and count the number of lines in your resume or the number of words in your essays. Obviously, if you submit something that's 500 lines, that might be a problem.

I'm assuming lines of actual content for my resume.

Has anyone received an interview invitation from Sloan yet? If not, does anyone know when Sloan usually starts sending them out?

I believe Sloan does not start reviewing applications until the deadline. They start processing apps only after the deadline, irrespective of when you submitted.

The deadline for R1 hasn't even passed yet, so I don't think they have started reviewing apps yet.

Let's say one gets into MIT R1. The decision deadline is April 1st. Other R2 schools, however, might not let you know until April 15th. Is this an important detail? Must one decide on MIT without knowing their result at the R2 schools?

I added the question too, but make sure everything fits in one page.

That's it !!! Submitted. Can't edit anymore and look for passive voice and substitute it with active voice.

I stated the essay question in my response as well. I second WG's statement about keeping it to one page, very important. Good luck.

Hi !

I am planning to apply for the LGO program.
I had registered for the ambassador day on oct 26 but could not make it as I was down with flu :( :(

But heard that they are not taking in foreign nationals without a valid working visa.. is that true?
This info would be of great help to me.. as I feel this is a prog which fits my goals perfectly ..also feel that I have good chances of getting thru..
But if the visa is going to be an issue.. then I would not be counting much on it even though I would apply

 what usually happens in this case? would MIT budge on their date? will the other school nudge the date forward? or are you basically screwed?

You are screwed, but from what successful applicants and alums have told me, it's a drop in the bucket, the deposit !!
Remember though, that even if you don't hear from the other school on their final decision, based on your interview and gut feel, you will have a good idea of your chances of making it.
