Unhedged and dv450 - congrats!! looks like the final hurdle is over for u guyz... hope i can make it to ann arbor too

Last year, they started giving out calls on 12th jan and continued till 14th. Those who had to check online were either waitlisted or dinged... There might be exceptions though.

Focused a lot on Why Ross apart from MAP, Action Based Learning, Wolverine fund.
the interviewer is an entrepreneur and runs his own shop. so when i said Ross coz of Action Based Learning, he asked me to use that and tell him few things missing/ nor proper in his office.

Overall the exp was great and the interview was completely conversational

A quick question:

Did anyone whose toefl is less than 100 get interview invitation?

I guess I am the only one still waiting. I thought my application was strong enough to at least get an invite. This is hard!

As you're considering what makes Ross unique, I wanted to let you know about the Social Venture Fund, a new addition to the other two student-run venture capital funds on campus (Wolverine Venture Fund and Frankel Commercialization Fund).

The SvF just launched and will invest in socially-driven for-profit enterprises. The SvF wants to demonstrate that mission-driven companies can both be profitable and provide transformative solutions to societal needs. The goal of SvF is to create a marketplace for social impact investing and educate the next generation of business leaders to invest in and manage innovative, profitable, and sustainable enterprises.

The SvF is the only student-run fund of its kind though there are other student-run funds that invest in non-profits or provide microfinancing. All 3 funds at Ross count as course credit and accept applicants at the beginning of the year and sometimes mid-year. +1 for your thoughtfulness... And being a part of a socially driven for-profit enterprise myself, I really like Ross for its social conscious...
