Had my interview today with an alum in New Delhi. Lasted for about 40 minutes. Was mostly asked standard questions only -->
1) Where did you do your schooling from ?
2) Asked about a hobby.
3) Why did you leave your previous firm ?
4) What is your current role in your new firm ? Describe your current project.
5) Which was your favourite course in college and why ?
6) Mention your experience of working in teams.
7) Mention a time when you resolved conflicts.
8) If you could change one thing about your current Project Manager what would it be ?
9) Why do you want to pursue an MBA and why now ?
10) Career Goals.
11) What are your criteria for selecting a B School ?
12) Why Chicago Booth ?
13) From what all sources did your learn about Booth ?
14) Any questions for me ? (I asked 3-4)
I think I gave decent answers to most of them..The interviewer had the same facial expression right from the beginning to the end..completely straight faced.
Don't know whether he was satisfied or dissatisfied
. But absolutely no grilling..
PS: Had one more issue. Was wearing a business attire for the first time. High heels was a problem I guess..Think I didn't carry it too well..(the alum also noticed the walk
)
