Just got the interview invite as well. I applied for the Jan 8 deadline am very excited, loved everything about KF. I already went for a campus visit, do you guys think its necessary to go back to campus for an interview? I read someone's reply that 90% of applicants get an interview, that can't be right? What would be the point of even having invite only interview?

I'm pretty sure that all of accepted applicants do interview. Unless you're international, I would absolutely go back to campus and interview if you want to go to KF!

If you have a choice, in-person is always better unless you're overseas.

And if the GC's stats are correct, 13/14 people applying for R2 were invited for interivews, well over 90%.

I don't think of GC is a perfect proxy. Do others agree?

Does anybody have the option for an off-campus interview in their online tool? I only have on-campus and phone interview as options. I'd prefer an in-person interview without flying across the country.

Add me to the roll call. R2(January deadline), interview.
I had been sent an interview invitation before I completed my application.

Honestly, it is just like everyone said - very straight forward.

Know "Why Carolina," your resume, and what your goals are. Really as simple as that.

My interview lasted a 1/2 hour, which wasn't by mistake. I was told by one second year that during his interview the interviewer literally used a 30 minute timer. As a result, you have to be pretty clear in "telling your story."

I just got an e-mail from Kenan-Flagler about the decisions being emailed out on February 8th by 5pm and asking for updated address information. I didn't get this when I was waitlisted in Early Action, I'm hoping it's a good sign!

Me too. Hey, I really like your logic behind the email announcement. In my heart I believe you are right (UNC is my top choice), but my brain tells me that everyone gets the announcement.

I got it as well, and I'm guessing everyone gets it, otherwise I'd be doing backflips on my desk because I got accepted.

I got it, as well. I am guessing it, unfortunately, is not a positive indication but just something they send to everyone.

I just got off the phone w a friend who just got a call with $$$ at UNC.
The person got the email you guys are talking about as well on 25th.

I think the email itself is generic and can't be extrapolated.even though it feels good to think +ve
