Tusharvk, your understanding is absolutely right. The pool is definitely smaller than that of the original GMAT. The percentile score should not be treated as the real GMAT percentiles are. Our GMAT Club Tests percentiles only show indicate how you stand compared to other GMAT Club Test takers.

Thanks.

I have taken 2 math tests from gmab club. I do not have any problem making through all questions in time. However, everytime I end up getting 12-13 questions wrong. I like to believe that Quant is my forte (compared to Verbal); however, the number of errors I make baffles me.
Any suggestions before I take further more math gamt club tests?

I suggest that you analyze closely what question types/categories are the hardest for you and then improve that area using some good books. The books can be found here:
best-gmat-math-prep-books-reviews-recommendations-77291.html
Analyzing the error log is one of the keys to higher score :). Here's a thread about Error Log best practices:
all-about-the-error-log-11754.html
When you feel confident enough in your weak areas, you may go on with the GMAT Club Tests. These are my thoughts. Hope this helps you achieve a better score!

Hi, just wondering if there's a specific procedure in place to getting access to the Club Tests once you've met the requirements? Thanks in advance.

Thanks.

I looked through my past tests; reviewed some of the fundamentals and already reduced the mistakes from 12-13 to 8-9. Right now, I am at m06. look forward to further improvement.

Re: GMAT Club Tests [#permalink]
This is probably a silly question, but where can I see the OA and explanation for the GMATClub test questions? I am aware of the threads and discussions dedicated to each test, but is there an official explanation on the test somewhere? I think I saw one a while back but cannot remember. The fact that I took the test at 12 o'clock at night might have played a role in my difficulty here . . .

The Official Explanations are available in the GMAT Club Tests page for individual test questions. You need to have access to the GMAT Club Tests to see them (press "X" button or click "Explain Answer" link at the top of the test question while in the Review mode).

Re: GMAT Club Tests [#permalink]
Hi ,

Has anyone taken GMATCLUB TEST V5??

I took it just now and had a disappointing score of just 17 :-(.

I know I am bad at verbal but score of 17 is kind of frustrating.

All other test which I took, I had a score ranging from 26 to 31.

Unfortunately, CR section in which I thought to be very confident has become my weak point.

I am struggling in RC and CR.

Anyone please help..

Hi,

Official Explanations are available in each Test for every question. You have to hit the "X" key or click the "Explain Answer" link at the top of the question page. If you still have questions regarding the OEs, please send me a PM and possibly a screenshot of your test question screen.

Are average difficulties of the tests different? i.e. m01 vs m10?

They are different, but there is no particular order.

Re: GMAT Club Tests [#permalink]
No doubt these tests are good. I've finished m01-06, m25, and v01.

For someone short on time, does anyone have any suggestion on which particular 5 tests to take (excluding the above)? Should I just continue to do them sequentially, or should I focus on a specific set of 5?

Perhaps there are some sets with questions that are more in line with the current GMAT?

If you're struggling with a particular topic, you should take a look at the Sets in Hardest questions section.
