Did anyone just receive a waitlist letter by mail? I got the e-mail, but now I've been sent the letter and the Frequently Asked Q&A too.

Happy to. 720 GMAT (45Q/45V & 6.0 AWA), 3.4 from top 10 undergrad, 31 years old, white, male, 7 years as a military officer and 2 in non-profit since leaving the military. Pretty heavy community involvement. I don't know, am I leaving any relevant things out? If so, let me know.

So after re-reading the e-mail that we all received Jan 25, is it that Duke will continue to keep sending out interview invites until Feb 3, or will they be sending them out all at one time?

Yet to receive an interview invite, so needless to say I'm getting anxious...

what happened in R1???

Page 19 of this thread suggests that emails started to go out around 2:30 the day before the deadline (i.e. tomorrow).

Isn't it amazing how many of us were undecided about applying to Duke prior to attending the app-fee-reducing info session but would now say Duke is our top choice (or would be as excited to attend Fuqua as we would to any other program we applied)?

Do they also send out the dings at the same time or applicants have to wait for a longer period to know their outcome ?

Essentially, I suppose it would be, right? When the school is interviewing almost all, if not all, applicants, no IV = ding. :?

Not a definite ding - I received no interview invite but was waitlisted - not sure what that means as I've had no contact with the school since then (other than sending in a couple of updates since being waitlisted).

So it will be one of the following - Interview invite/WL/Ding. I guess they will all go out in the same batch.

Heel - In your W/L mail, were you asked to furnish any new info or did they mention other material info that will help your chances?

Why cant they give a date later than the actual decision date while notifying applicants. That way, we can all act surprised/shocked! :lol:
