From what someone mentioned earlier, the R1 invites started coming out the day before the published "interview decision date". vamos a ver

First e-mail for R1 of this year was reported the day before the deadline at 2:36 pm Eastern.

Was it a two day ordeal? Or did they release all invites the day prior?

Someone on the BW forums claims to have e-mailed admissions asking if they'll release invitations early and received a response saying the invitations will only be going out tomorrow.

haha....how the heck is anyone on this forum supposed to know? None of us R2 applicants have received this email before. When it comes, I'm sure there will be lots of activity on the board.

EST? I highly doubt it. I've never seen that reported before. They're probably going to go out sometime between 9am-6pm EST or so.

Hi drew031482,

I applied on Jan 7 (R2 deadline) and received an email on Jan 26 inviting me for an interview with one of Fuqua’s Alumni Admissions Ambassadors in Brazil. I already scheduled this interview to Feb 8.

Good luck for all R2 applicants!

That is curious. I'm international, but have not heard anything other than the standard 'application complete' email some days ago. Can't be long now!

Thanks JohnnyBravo!

But actually I believe more Brazilian applicants were already invited too. When I scheduled the interview with Fuqua’s alumnus, he sent me a general email with all possible dates (the last available was Feb 11) saying that he needed to organize well the distribution of interviewers.

I think I received an invitation earlier because of a regional aspect. São Paulo, Brazil, wasn’t in the interview locations in the Interview Date Updates email that I received some days ago.
