I am very disappointed at my GMAT score
. This is my second attempt, my first attempt landed me 640. I targetted at least 700+ for my second attempt , but well I guess this is where I stand and have to stop brooding over low GMAT score and make the most of what I have.
The top B schools are totally out of question, because I am also looking at financial aid and with my profile, its not rational to apply to them.Same goes with the trans-elite schools. Insetad I plan to apply for some of the regionally reputed schools.
Primarily I am looking at the silicon valley region.I want to continue in sofwtare consulting.I think this is where the tech companies are clustered.I am thinking of applying to colleges which have an avg GMAT of about 630 so that I stand a good chance for aid and also leverge on the proximity of the silicon valley for a better carrer prospects after an MBA .
How good is my line of thought here? Can I target at any other region?
Finally, which schools do I have to be targetting at,with the profile I have?
