It will depend on what financial assistance I am offered. UNC is definitely my top choice but I have a full ride on the table from my 2nd choice school. So for me it would be hard to justify paying about $90Kto go to UNC versus $0 at choice number 2.

85% chance. you?

Yeah I'm moving towards definitely attending. Had a good phone call with an ambassador today that really put me at ease with the choice. Seems like a great atmosphere and the financial connections seem healthy.

I can't make admit weekend b/c of a buddy's wedding, but I really liked it down there when I visited.

From everything I've heard from friends here in NYC, UNC has a solid reputation and network in finance.

Really liked unc as well but have not heard anything re:funding. It's between KFBS and Kelley (Indiana). Kelley has offered half schol as well as a GA...and on top of that I would receive in-state tuition at Kelley. Assuming unc does not offer anything, it would be tough to justify turning down Kelley. Thoughts regarding a comparison of the two schools (considering above financial situation)?

I have a second-year friend at Kelley who is having a tough time getting any NYC exposure right now. At the beginning of my application experience I would have said definitely go to school you think is better despite the financial considerations but, now that I'm facing these student loans, that package you describe would be very tough to pass up. I'd probably go with Kelley, especially if you are fine with the prospect of working in Chicago.

I think I would go with Kelley for the money difference. I always thought both schools have very similar strengths and weakness (not being in major city).
Have you visited Kelley? I ended up not applying because I wanted to stay in the east coast region, but I felt like I would get very similar friendness from students and faculty with UNC. After visiting their booths, they were very consistent with their communications and a student even wrote me a hand written card during holiday.

@lbird33 - I have not given a detailed look yet. But it looks pretty exhaustive. There is a lot of detail about all the resources available to you as a student. There is a special envelope with a semi handwritten note from the Director of the Leadership program w/ a CD. Sorry that i can't give you any more info ! I just haven't paid that much attention to it yet.

I got an interview invite, but it looks like they interview almost everyone. Is that on point?

During a chat session in the fall the admissions committee mentioned that they plan to interview 50-60% of all applicants if memory serves me, but I suspect that number to be slightly higher.
