Thank you for the idea! +1. As to your questions, you might get more attention in the US Schools application forum:

My question is :

How much of importance is given to the European schools ( JUDGE, SAID ,Cranfield,Warwick,Manchester) in say US or India? Are they preferred over say US (ranked 25 above) schools (in US as well as in India )?

The list would be immensely helpful if they can be cateorised as global or regional powerhouses. Just a thought from my side.

Hi

Thank you for the comprehensive rankings.
I do have a few questions however.
1) You placed Financial Times, Economist, and Business Week rankings. I am a little unsure as to which you or other find more reliable and how they base their rankings.
Does anyone perfer one over the other or should I regard on emore over another based on my goals?

2) GPA, how important is this in determining which B-school to pick?

3) I am 25 with 2 years of experience....this list is a bit daunting when I look at the average or mean of years of work experience and age. Should I be focusing on a certain ranking range or school since I fall well below the average?

Thank you again for this ranking chart!!

iswarpatel, thanks for the info.
Based on your knowledge, as I do not have an 'explosive' gpa (though above 3.0) and my best gmat scores were 680 and 710, what general ranking number and above should I start considering?
I am not sure where to start and want to be realistic considering the standards.
Lastly, in your opinion, do believe that obtaining an MBA from a international school/outside the US is more beneficial or....what are your thoughts on this?
Thank you!!

Looking into some b-schools around Asia since I want to work in either China or HK afterward.

Can anyone comment on the MBA programs in Tsinghua, CEIBS, HKUST, CUHK? Which one held more prestige and preferred by employers?

Thanks in advance.

p.s. Would also appreciate if someone can share some links/info regarding MBA programs in Asia. It is surprisingly hard to find accurate information online.

It is better to ask these questions to an expert. There are many active consultants in the forum and other forums also.Ask them about their opinion. They will guide you better.

Melbourne Business School (MBS), The University of Melbourne

Guys,
I'm looking at others perspective on Melbourne Business School.
I have few home-ground advantages of trying in there since I am an Australian (Sri Lankan dual citizen), so obviuosly I have the FEE-HELP facility and Can take less study load and continue to work.
But in terms of credibility, I need to see the others views.
MBS's MBA is rannked,
* 13 in The Economist Which MBA ranking (ranks above MIT Sloan, Columbia, INSEAD, Yale.. Said/Oxford appears in 47.. that's a surprise)
* 63 in FT (Financial Times - UK)
* and surprisingly doesn't appear in Businessweek at all!!

I would like to ask where is LSE in the table? (you have mentioned it in notes).
Is city (Cass, UK) is out of rating?

you do realize that you have picked the most competitive school in the world right?
It is probably easier to get into Harvard than ISB 8-)

I don't see EIU's latest rankings being reflected here : IESE has dropped down to 5th, IMD 6th , while HEC is at 9 and York moved upto 10th place. These are the ones that I remember off the top of my head, I am sure there are a few others that fell or have moved up a couple of places.
