Honestly, most women are looking for a "good guy," as the previous poster said. The definition of a "good guy" isn't always a rich guy. Most women think that as long as you enjoy and are good at what you do, then they would consider you successful. Besides, why would you want a woman who's only interested in your money? Furthermore, if she's also in b-school, chances are she might make more money than you do 10 years down the road. Just my $0.02.

Just a female perspective here:

A friend of mine and I (both mid-20s females) detest those chatty seatmate pick-up attempts. We've even joked about wearing ipod headphones visibly without a player, just to see if people get the hint after our third polite "I'll let you get back to your book" or "I need to get some work done, please excuse me."

Airports drive me nuts. Pick-up attempts when you get your ticket, pick-up attempts when you go through security, pick-up attempts when you board, pick-up attempts at your seat!

Trust me, guys. Let her do the talking. She will if she's interested. And no, it doesn't matter if you're at H/S/W. The women worth having don't care.

PS. This is advice about relationships, not hooking up. The skanks are easy to spot, and a simple wave of a platinum card will do the trick in seconds.

Personally, I've never tried to "pick up" girls at an airport. I mean, why would you? You're only in the same terminal for 1-2 hours (more if you're really unlucky), and then you'll be in separate cities with thousands of miles in between.

Also very true. If a girl wasn't interested to begin with, there's pretty much nothing you can do to change her mind. If a girl is interested, she will let you know, and you would have to be a knucklehead not to notice. It's simple as that. But again, it's always easier said than done, and women will make sure that they remain a mystery for the rest of eternity.

This entire discussion is just down right hillarious thrown in everywhere all of it. I am damn sure, most single men, including me, have taken to pursuing this MBA thing, primarily to relive those wonderful experiences from the graduation days. Less to learn, and lots to hit-on!!!

May all the desperate souls genuinely seeking a beloved find one soon!!! Amen!!!

Sounds just about perfect to me, I mean how much time do you really need?

That's true. Becoming spouses shouldn't take that long. The average wedding ceremony might last an hour and a half but really the vows take less than 20 minutes. And if you cut out the dramatic sighs and deep soul-searching stares, you could each say your vow in under a minute easy. Throw in some time for the presiding officer to do his thing -- and double it for him/her/it to divorce you. Honestly, I don't see why you couldn't get married at least 20 or 30 times in an hour or two.

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA......ROFL!!!!

I hereby nominate this for the best thread on GC.

My boss walked over to my office when he heard me trying (unsuccessfully) to control my laughter and I had to make up a story about a client's email to hide my case of senioritis (GC Forums at work, tsk tsk).

LOL @ senioritis! I definitely have a MAJOR case of that. So hard to resist. I'm afraid it's terminal.
