Between 10:06 and 12:30 the hour hand of the clock turns by

66 degrees
70 degrees
72 degrees
75 degrees
78 degrees

Earlier had similar problem, but still can not get the explanation, please help

The time difference is 2 hours and 24 minutes
The clock is 360 degrees
There are 12 hour segments on the clock so each segment is 30 degrees (360/12). In two hours the clock moves 2 segments or 60 degrees so now we need to account for 24 minutes. A 360 degree turn by the minute hand equals one hour. 24/60 (24 minutes/60 minutes or one complete turn) = 2/5 of an hour. Each hour = 30 degrees so 2/5*30 = 12 degrees so 72 degrees total.

12 hour = 360
1 hour = 30
60 min = 30
1 min = 1/2 degree

find the total minutes and divide be 2..you will get 72
