Dunno. Got into USC but I dont' think my heart is in it.. like many others their program has come off as half-assed to me the entire time. May reapply, may say screw it... guess I don't have a whole ton of time to figure it out though. I had been expecting to get in :/

My $0.02 on this would be to not force it if you feel you belong to a better school. You might have not executed your application well or might have just gotten unlucky. If your situation doesn't require attending school this year then maybe you should apply to a different set of schools next year.

One year will give you an opportunity to further improve your profile. And your essays will definitely improve because you will become more seasoned in telling your story.

760 is a great score, and I agree with the others that you'll probably be more focused in putting together a better application for the next round knowing what you know now. If I were you, I'd roll the dice on the next round. Worse case scenario is that you attend USC PM next year which really isn't so bad. It just seems to me that there is much more upside if you decide to put forth the effort in your reach schools plus the job market is in no hurry to improve in the near term. Good luck with whatever you decide.
