770 Q50 V44

It's over! And an awesome mark on my first attempt. Just wanted to share some insight to those taking the test aiming for 99th percentile.

Quant

I was expecting to get a 51 since it was my strength by far, but I was a couple of minutes late after the break so I was a bit stressed. I found a couple of questions that were extremely easy by the middle of the exam so I was worried I might had done several mistakes at the beggining. I still got a 50 so no need to worry. Also I believe is a high 50 since many people get 760 with a 50/44 split.

Verbal

44 was an amazing score for me. I really struggled with Sentence Correction at the beggining of my preparation. Manahattan's book really helped me. At the day of the exam Sentence Correction was already a stregth. I could answer all the questions with a high degree of certainty.

I have always been good with Critical Reasoning so no worries here (I also did not get a bold question). The last two were especially tricky but I had a lot of time left so I think I got them right. Reading Comprehension was much easier than I expected. I found the last passages of the OG very long and tricky, but those in my exam were much easier. Also it helped that the difficulty was increasing, starting from a very easy first text in the first 10 questions.

Good luck with your exam guys! Especially I want to point out how important is to improve in Verbal to get a high mark for those who are good at maths. Getting 50 or 51 in quant is almost the same; however, if you devote the time to Verbal your mark will really benefit!
