Well, given the past week's terrible turn of events, my hit rate dropped to like an 80% because I consistently screwed up phenomenally. So I decided not to do CR for a while and instead start preparing for SC by listening to the lectures and taking notes. We'll see :)

I have access to the Powerscore On-Demand Course and I am using that as well as Veritas and MGMAT to prepare for the GMAT, choosing to do strategies from one of them and using the rest as practice material as necessary.

Presently, my SC preparation is halfway through and I am working on the Advanced CR book from Veritas. Hopefully, I'll be able to finish my SC strategy by today and start working on the SC questions from Veritas by tomorrow.

I think I am extremely lucky because I understand the rules of SC without much struggle. When I was taking a practice GMAT Grockit session, I got only 5 questions wrong out of 51 in the Verbal section and none of them were in SC. Now, I've begun the Powerscore SC and I am also thumbing through the MGMAT SC slowly in order to pick up important tips!

Thanks folks. I was looking for dates in the last week of December and 29th was the only one that had a 12pm slot. I didn't want 8am slots because of logistical problems and also because I didn't want to look back on this, should I do bad, and think, "Oh! If only I'd had a later slot" :)

So yeah. Let's see where this battle goes :)

Good luck bud! Looks like you're really driven for the 2+2 Program.

My $0.02 - I used Knewton and found them really helpful. Its a 50 point money back guarantee (50 points from your previous GMAT or Diagnostic).

Look into it. According to an article that sighted some top dogs of Kaplan (or ex-top dogs), Knewton may not just be changing the way GMAT is taught/understood, but they way adaptive learning is delivered.

I found Knewton very helpful and worth the moolah!

Haha thanks! But I think I have more than enough practice material and study strategies :) I am more of a learn by self person, but I'll keep knewton in mind if I need to take a class!
