I am confused about difference between Manhattan GMAT Prep guides and strategy guides. The 5th and 6th rankings at this forum ( top-20-best-gmat-books-on-gmat-club-76582.html ) consist "8 Manhattan GMAT guides" and "Manhattan GMAT Sentence Correction". Are they stand for Prep guides or Strategy guides?
What is the difference between prep and strategy?
Which one would be better to buy?

I believe this has been answered here: manhattan-gmat-strategy-or-prep-109272.html

Let me know if any other questions.

As always, I am highlighting books that lost positions in red and books that gained positions in green.

I'm colourblind. So, it all looks the same to me :)

I know I represent a minority group, but instead of using colours, it would be cool if you could use a symbol.

e.g ˄ Manhattan Sentence Correction [Up]
˅ Official Guide [Down] {No offense, official guide}

I'm glad it helps. You can take a look at this thread with reviews for most of these books:

This thread should provide more details about which of them fit you best.

Is there any sequence of approaching the MGMAT strat/ prep guides, I have started with guide 3 on eqns, inequalities and VICs, chapter 6 on inequalities is killing me! I cannot memorize rules, always thought math is more intutive :), anyways need some guidance from ppl who smoothly glided thru the MGMAT strat guides in their gmat battle, personally I just want to give up, mgmat strat guides are real draining!

I can help :) I'm pretty thorough with the Manhattan Quant guides. Send me a PM outlining the difficulties you're facing :)

Thanks entwistle, basically all last 15 problems out of 30 in the chapter 6 exercise came out wrong; may be becoz for this chapter I got lazy and didn't take any notes, I will try to send a PM later outlining my exact goof-ups.. Little background: I am not good at quant basics: gave gmat prep1 10days ago and got a 45 in quant with 15 problems wrong!

@ BB

Thank you for the reply; it really saved my money and time. Thanks a ton!

Have you reviewed the book "The MBA Reality Check: Make the School You Want, Want You"? I think it's a hidden jewel. It has got 5 out of 5 in the Amazon.com reviews (11 reviews).
