Any update on the applyyourself website?

No update there either I am a R1 WL candidate...maybe thats the last batch?! I am really freaking out.

anyone who was on W/L in R1 receive any emails??? my status is still the same ...

My acceptance letter came with the scholarship amount - $20K a year.

Hi I'm a r1 waitlist too and still no email or call. The wait is killing me!

6:25 email was a waitlist for me. damn. really disappointing.

got an email... W/l in R1 and W/l in R2... what does it mean?? do I have a chance?

R1 waitlist applicant - just got the email. Waitlisted again!

I am no expert by any means, but someone hit it pretty close with the idea that at McDonough, there is a very good chance of W/L moving to accepted.

McDonough loses a lot of people to Darden/Wharton/UNC and other surrounding schools with slightly (UNC) to considerably (Wharton) better reputations/stats/rankings.

There is a good chance that in the next two weeks, a good amount of people who got accepted to GTown will be accepted to one of these other schools and turn McDonough down (more so than maybe some other schools).

I personally think too much stock is put between the differnece between a #17 vs. #23 ranked B-school but a lot of people will have some decisions to make.

Sounds like lots of people get admitted off the waitlist

Not sure how you're inferring that lots of people get admitted off of the waitlist from those numbers. How do you know that 690 weren't admitted during the normal rounds and just 2 were admitted off of the waitlist?

edit - sorry for the aggressive tone. I'm a little bent out of shape that I got waitlisted.

McDonough seems to be very stingy this year with regards to those admitted without spending time on the waitlist and with regards to the amount of financial aid offered. There appears to be many applicants with strong profiles that hopefully will be able to join next fall. Good luck to all!
