It's great to see people here helping each other :)
I will be taking the test in the third week of Feb
24th to be exact - I made my Girl Friend pick the date ^_^
(so that would be one week after Sednima attempts the exam)
I thought I'd just post to share some info regarding my preparation so far!

So far I have finished the Manhattan SC Guide and all the SC questions from the OG.
On the Quant Side, I have Finished the Manhattan Number Properties Guide and the Equations Guide. Will Finish the other three by tomorrow :D
Then, during the following two days, I will solve all the PS and DS questions from the OG. After that, I'll take the Manhattan CAT #3.
My Score for the Manhattan CAT #1 was Q: 42 V:33 T:620
&
for the Manhattan CAT #2 was Q: 44 V:35 T:650

I expect an increment of 2 to 3 points in my next CAT. Let's see how that works out!

Sorry about your results. But keep in mind that the GMAT is difficult. Also, things in life aren't easy. Anything that is worth something is difficult to get. So, pick yourself back up and believe that you'll do it.

BTW, I'm taking my GMAT in about a week and haven't crossed the 500 mark in any of the GMATPrep. So, we'll see.

@rsonline, As you have mentioned uk visa will gonna be tough for indian people.so what is next for us? Should we write GMAT? what is other way around?? Can you please eloborate on this?

@Amuse, Look, it's not that complicated if your fundamentals are clear for Quant and Verbal part.I'll be writing exam in April 2011. Planning to take 15-20 days off from work. I believe,vacation should work for me to get my score.

UK student visa is going to be tough from April'11 and even they are planning to stop PSW visa as well. So if you are really interested in to do MBA from UK than put up yourself into top 5 UK universities....next best option is to be in US/Australia or nothing better than India.
