wiredo: the name I assigned to my halloween costume - christmas lights and wires running all over my body, a wreath made of wires, an easy switch that made me "light up" like a tree!

bakfed - the abbreviations of three beautiful actresses that I dreamt about dating when I was a teenager.

Funny thing though...I don't remember any of the three actresses anymore...

But what I did then was combined all three abbreviations and tried to make it into a word that is at least 'pronounce-able'.

Annmary -->my real name is Maryam but i like 'Ann' , because it's short and simple ;so i select Annmary and thus, This name is a combination of Ann and Maryam.

Michmax, is a combination of my name and my puppy's name, although he is old now :(

The 3 came when I tried to use Michmax for the first time somewhere and found it was already taken, so I kept increasing the number until I was able to use it and it kind of just stuck

Four score and seven years ago......, back when my hair wasn't all grey, my GMATClub user name used to be "ninkorn" (now nink - shortened)..

Combination of two bands I listened to in highschool (NIN and Korn).....kinda started using that for everything else.....

P.S. - My musical preference has much evolved since....thank you very much.

LOL, very nice. Given how much music I listen to I shoulda totally done that! But I just used the first letter of my first name and a few off my surname. I guess I can't change my username now. Oh well....

An eskimo roll is the name of the technique in kayaking of righting the kayak from capsize. I'm a kayak instructor and for awhile got really into competitive rolling (rolling up the kayak in increasingly harder ways). :)

I have followed the discussion since it was started and I knew my time would come.
It is not mysterious and I guess when I started GC in 2002 I did not quite think it was going to catch on or I would have to explain to anyone.... it is the first initial of my name and I doubled it. It was kind of difficult to be just "b", so the bb was born.

The relationship with phpBB, the software we use is purely co-incidental, though very ironic.
