Oh I haven't looked at the essays yet. I've started the essays for other schools though. Which other ones are you applying to?

My R1 are: Wharton, LBS, Oxford, Cambridge. I am debating if I want to add HEC Paris to R1 but I think it might be too ambitious to take on. :)

I am also thinking about LBS, Oxford and Cambridge. HEC and IESE are also in my list. But I am concerned about the language. Being in consulting, the first level of success is to integrate with the community. And if I were to work in France or Spain, I need to learn French or Spanish. I am contemplating on that.

Hi Guys,

I do have plans to apply only for Insead class of 2013 (july). Just started working on essays. Here is my profile :
25/M/Indian
GRE : 1450/1600 (800Quant) - No plans for GMAT.
Current Position : Business Consultant (for a Belgian Research firm) - 39 months till sept 2012.
Work Desc : Business Consulting, Lobbying and Management of the EU funded RnD Projects. Current portfolio of over EUR 8 mill €/year.
Previously Worked in : Turkey (Ankara), France (Paris), Now in Belgium (brussels).
Post MBA Plans: To continue Consulting/ Emerging Markets (India/SE Asia).

Publications and Dissemination activities: 20+ publications in business journals/magazines, white papers; frequent appearances and speaking at innovation forums, business conferences and workshops.

Extra Curricular: Volunteer Consultant for an international NGO in Brussels - looking after the business development, fundraising, project management etc etc.

Given substantial exposure to European Markets and businesses, I believe MBA from Insead is what I should focus on. I am looking forward to meet and greet fellow future Inseaders here. Kindly do share your experiences and expectations, i am looking forward to hear more.
