As always, this is great. Only one comment. A mean of 700 doesn't imply that 50% fall below; a median score of 700 does.

Regardless, I will be buying this.

Good catch... I'll make sure to edit for clarification.

Is this different than the 72 PDF Rhyme posted for everyone when he announced he was leaving?

Its built from that PDF. It contains a number of updated sections (hence the page difference), but a large portion of the content would be the same. I intend to keep updating it throughout the rest of the year, so I imagine it will morph more and more over time.

hey Rhyme, thanks for this book, it's excellent. Wish I had laid my hands on it earlier.

BTW, I am a WL @ Booth and wanted to see some WL strategies, but I don't see any in the book, did I buy a wrong book or missed it?

An excellent book that answers the question 'Is there life after the GMAT?'. It is really up to the point and addresses vital questions about the application process w/o meaningless fluff 'no gmat is bad', 'be yourself and show that in your applications'. Highly recommended as the guide at the other part of GMAT journey :)

UPDATE
What I liked in particular:
- how to research schools
- a real student's opinion on what is important in the application process
- opening the Vayner's story for me :)
- interview guidance

I am thinking about purchasing this ebook, it seems to have been written a few years ago perhaps... would you all say it is still pretty relative? The table of contents is quite interesting and I am sure it's beneficial. Thanks

It's about eight months old, with parts written perhaps a year ago, and I'd say its still largely relevant. At the end of the day, much of these questions and issues are timeless in nature (or at the very least pretty long term): issues relating to GMAT haven't fundamentally shifted in the last year (other than the average ticking up a few points here and there), coping with low GPAs is still the same fundamental problem one would have faced, etc. In short, I think you'll find most of the book relevant, and, if you don't find it useful feel free to PM me and yell at me.

If we buy it now and BB or rhyme make some awesome updates to it - can we get the update for free or will you do it publishing company style of editions? =D

Yes - you can download the update for free.
Make sure you save the original email - it allows you to download the file 2 or 3 times. After that it has an option to request additional downloads (reset the license), and we always grant it.
