its a lot less work I must say than writing 3 essays. I think CBS looks for pragmatism and if as a re-app you can say why you did what you did and why last year it was not correct for you, it shows you are willing to take responsibility for your failure and yet making your candidacy. my 2 cents ofcourse.


^But it's not always a "failure" that keeps you out. I mean, if you apply with too little work experience and get dinged, I wouldn't sum that up as a failure.

With a ~15% acceptance rate they could ding you for anything: too little WE...ding! Already reached their quota for ex-consultants this year...ding! You're not an int'l student and they need more of those...ding!

There are many reasons out of your control that you could be rejected for. In those cases, all that you can do is gain more leadership experience and skills, submit early the next year, and hope for the best!

Reapplicants have a higher tolerance for pain, I think, compared to the rest of the applicant pool

Feeling inspired by Rick Ross tonight and channeling admits for everyone:

I’m applying round one
It’s making me sweat
I apply to other schools and considering the debt
Posting on GMAT Club, ignoring my work
Does my boss above me think I’m a jerk?

Reapp under my belt
Consider me like the rest
I explain in essay one how I’m definitely the best
Hassle my recommender and remind him that he’s late
Even though I’m stressing and will be hitting the date

Still applying early decision, it’s the death of me
Ever seen 250 cash, gotta count it carefully
Ever applied early decision to the school of your dreams
In a pool full of rockstars and other phenoms it seems

Clubbers, I could make it there
Call the adcom personally and make it a dare
So yeah, we’re in deep, the feeling ain’t fair
And it’s CBS MBA Early Decision until we get the chair

Since we're nerds... For day of the week, you can use =TEXT(CELL,"dddd") instead of your nested IF statement :)

Received interview invite 6 days ago but did not yet receive interview scheduling instructions. Is this normal for international students?

Check your spam/junk folder. Mine ended up in there. You should have gotten it the same day...I would call/email admissions
