Part time program class of 2018 ( starting fall 15)

I submitted mine as well for the March 1 deadline. It seems as if they added it out of nowhere a month before. I am wondering how many people took advantage of this earlier deadline.

I was also surprised by the March 1st deadline, because I looked a few months ago and remember the deadline being in May. I missed the March 1st deadline but am submitting my application right....

Just received my status check portal info today. Hoping to receive a decision in the next 2-4 weeks.

Me too. I heard that they typically send out notifications on wed. So I suppse we wait another week

I applied 3/12...right after the first deadline. Has anyone else received an email with their status account information or decisions? I still haven't and it'll be a month tomorrow so I'm nervous something got lost in the mail.

Hey Anxiouscat. Not sure if they follow this to the letter, but in regards to the status application link, they state: "Please note that confirmation emails will not be emailed prior to the deadline date."

If that's true, you may get something a few days after May 15.

Thanks omahasaidhut! I actually called and they said to expect the confirmation in 3 weeks and it has been 4 so I am curious what others are experiencing.

Anxious cat- I received mine about 3 weeks after I applied on feb 20 something to meet the march 1 st deadline. You might receive yours around may1st.

I was hoping to hear back on a decision today. We are right at the timeframe that past classes have heard back

I submitted Feb 19 and received the application status link the same day (3/18) as you, gottascorehigh. I was hoping to hear back today also but nada so far =T.

Based on the Fall '14 and Spring '15 intake, applicants started receiving admits exactly a month after the submission deadline. I'm speculating that since they moved the R1 deadline earlier, they were unable to let the PT's know by April 1st b/c it overlapped with the admissions crew, finalizing the undergrad and FT admits (both had an April 1st notification deadline). A handful of FT's received admits this past Monday and a few FT waitlisted received their admits today. Hopefully with the FT class administratively set, admissions can start churning out the PT admits and we can hear something soon!

Omahasaidhut- thanks for all the insight! That makes absolute sense. I was thinking we would have heard back either today or last Wednesday but with full time and undergrad rolling te delay makes sense

9 years total work experience. Started off with manufacturing engineering, moved into project engineering for industrial plants and finally settled into the energy industry. Went through a rotational leadership program and got into the operations aspect of power generation, supervising a crew. Worked in power generation for 5 years and recently transferred into a financial role, trading energy.

Undergrad: Mechanical Engineering from a state university 3.02 gpa
Grad: Civil Engineering/Project Management hybrid from an ivy school with 3.41 gpa

I took the GRE with a 81 percentile for verbal and 71 percentile for quant

Essays from current manager, previous manager and a recent grad school professor
For the personal expression essay, I made a powerpoint instead

Extracurriculars were high. Joined a lot of company clubs, teams, mentoring roles, volunteer and fundraiser type events. Will be running the 2015 NYC marathon this fall.
