shashi6029 My understanding of question 3 is that the following is written about the sociological economists:
"these sociologists tend to view all human behavior as directed primarily by the principle of maximizing economic gain"

I feel that even though D states that the cost of child labor increased, B is better because it perfectly sums the fact that the value of children is so high because they are capable of earning a lot throughout their life. This can be understood by focusing on the portion "principal of maximizing economic gain".
