Hi, i am Krishna, i always wanted to do a PhD since my graduation. I have 58% in my under graduation ( BSc) and then have 72% in my graduation( MBA- Marketing). currently i am working for a market research firm as an Associate analyst and would have a year and half experience by 2012. I am looking forward for application in 2012.

I am planning to write GRE new format in August; but in two minds on which exam to write, what should i prefer GRE or GMAT ? And what is the difference between two and which of the two exams is easy or difficult ?

What are the chances of me getting into a PhD program?

Its up to you to give gre or gmat.
Both are same as far as superficial matter is concerned.
Gre is more focused on verbal whereas gmat is focused on quantitative.
Both exams are CAT.
Gre has a section wise adapting sequence and gmat has a question wise adapting methodology.
