Re: Planting all these seeds is more involved than I thought. [#permalink]
Hello,

I was just doing this problem in the MGMAT book and, as a non-native speaker, am really struggling with it.

The answer says: "Planting all these seeds is more involved than I thought"

To me, this sentence doesn't make any sense. First, what do they mean with "...is more involved" -> involves more work then thought? Second, that's how I'd have done it:

"Planting all these seeds involves more than I thought" -> is this right, wrong?

Thanks in advance,

Andreas

In my opinion, "Planting all these seeds involves more than I thought" is not that right. Because than should be followed by noun. Maybe the correct version is
Planting all these seeds involves more than my expectation.
or
Planting all these seeds is more involving than I thought.
