Future Professional Information:
Entering General Electric Aviation's Information Technology Leadership Program starting next week. It is the number one ranked leadership program in the world and consists of four six month rotations in various leadership positions in IT and three months of training, including a four week bootcamp in Michigan and three week bootcamp in China. My first rotation will be as the IT lead for managing the transition of 1,400 locations from a legacy network to a next generation network. This includes project management, resource management of a global team and technology management. Future rotations will include similar assignments and possibly an international assignment. Following completion of the two year program I will get to pick my next assignment in a leadership position in IT.
The five part-time programs I am interested in are:
- Chicago Booth weekend and evening
- Northwestern Kellogg weekend and evening
- University of Michigan Ross part-time
- Carnegie Mellon Tepper part-time
- Duke University Fuqua Cross Continent part-time MBA
Also, assume that I will be able to relocate close to these schools while attending, or possibly travel to weekend programs.
Thanks again!
