Sudhir,

Well, HBS and Stanford would be the two toughest schools to get into of the ones you mentioned, but as I mentioned, I don't think your chances at either would be remote. But if I had to pick the 6 schools where your odds of admission are *greatest* I would choose: NYU, Michigan, Yale, Cornell, Darden, and GSB Chicago of the schools you named.

Hope this helps,

Hi Paul..

Thanks a lot for the reply .. as usual really helpful....

In one of my chats with a friend of mine , he ws of the opinion that columbia admit rates fall very steeply after early decision round and cornell acceptance rate is very low for international ( around 17%) . I wanted to know how far is it justified for me, if its true, to apply there.. and whats ur opinion of London Business school( that friend of mine is joinin LBS) having seen my profile ( it has only 350 odd seats:( )

thanks a ton

Sudhir,

All three schools will be tough to get into this year even for very qualified folks. So figure out how many schools you can or want to apply to this year and make sure you've got a mix of "reach" schools, competitive schools, and "safeties."

Good luck,
